Knocking Again

Knocking Again

A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey

Hello there I came to
Your house and knocked
At various doors
I tried
Your heart
Your soul but
I felt the chill
Coming from
The basement
I knew that love
Hadn't visited
There in a long time

I decided to visit you
At work
This is where you spend
Most of your days
Reduced to a cubiclized
Space reeking havoc
On your diluted pupils
Of reality as you
Run around like
A lab rat in a maze
I was amazed
That you weren't phased
About my existence
As I was invisible

I sent you an email
That failed
RTS on letters
I sent in the mail
I sent you a text
It is me...OMG (Oh My God)
You were to busy
ROTFLYFA (Rolling on the floor laughing
(Your faith away)
To hear what I
Had to say
I sent you a tweet
#isitGodyouseek
#Godistryingtospeak

I needed you to know
That although
I have tried to
Reach you in different
Ways
I am asking you
Should I leave or stay
Should I wait for you
To pray?
Hoping to hear
You say
One day
Master, please
Try the door
once more
I am so sorry that
I missed
You before
Hopefully it
Will not be too
Late
As I stand on
The outside
Of heaven
Because you
Closed the gate
On me
Eternally

This gives your poem new meaning, so it is Jesus waiting for her?

He gave her/him every opportunity... The question is whether or not the door closed or not....
