If I Was A GirlA Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey
If I was a girl
I would be more Sensitive I would learn to Forgive be more Positive and change How I live If I was girl I Would trust my heart more Though it may get torn apart I won't close that door Because my soul is sore I would just pray the hurt away If I was a girl See for me the joy Of being a boy Or man is tough to Understand I am seeing that we Are emotionless beings That's why I wonder How it would be If I was her and She was me In that moment Would she truly Own it Would she see My point of view Would she understand Why a man is man Would she changed The plan and make me Brand new So When she leaves Would I believe That its OK to bleed If I was girl would I Go on a shopping spree And buy all things To make me pretty Would I get my Hair done So someone or Anyone notice me? Would I get a medi And a pedi and A little red teddy So I would be ready To paint the town Cause Victoria's Secret Has finally been found Would I know that It's okay to try on All the shoes in the Store until my feet Are sore as I fall To the floor Unable to laugh Anymore Happy in my own World If I was a girl Now if that could happen Would there be More joy for me as a Boy? Because in the moments I was a girl There was happiness In my world I was so positive So many reasons to Live Understand that Because I am man Being emotional Is not part of the plan Sad to say it's not in My DNA You will never hear Me say This I wish I was a girl? © 2015 Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J.
