The Pain of PlagiarismA Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey
I am invisible In her audience Along with Her Truths Her Dignity His Lies Her Self-Respect As she is Trying to get A positive review She knew that Was not possible Because the role Is in her soul Was so simple that It was beyond Her grasp For her To clasp or Even hold
So I am left With this daunting Task, as I ask Who Plagiarizes Someone else’s Work? Do they not Know the sounds Of their own words When heard? Do they not Know their self-worth? I patented And own the copyright To everything I write So it was not cool To see her play in my "Monologue For a Fool" I guess, I could digress Just this one time Cause in my mind I could forgive Her of this crime Because the stage of Life is both cold and cruel
