RE:Loving My Therapist?A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey
Through her eyes
I see that she loves me But not in the manner I want and need So I continue to bleed Privately Cause the image of manhood Was forged by and taught To me by the Men of Bethlehem Steel and the Pick axes of West Virginia Coal miners No matter what they Created with their hands Vulnerability was not One of them They taught me To keep things simple God, family, loyalty Believed and perceived In that exact order No room for chaos Order must be maintained At all cost Through her eyes I see that she loves me But not in the manner I want and need So I continue to bleed Privately Cause I understood The images of manhood I listen closely I hear the Freudian Slips Falling from her lips I see her lips move She loves me like a Project an object Something to compartmentalize Conceptualize Visualize Theorize As I realize That she loves Me like a guinea pig A lab rat That she can test Her theories on Basing her PhD On me My insecurities My vulnerabilities Are why she loves Me Any urbane soul Needs to be whole And rescued I am not confused When I openly choose Euthanasia To kill the situation I was facing
