War @ 355 a.m.A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. DorseyThere's no creaking on the Floors of darkness Crickets have been strangled And threatened at gunpoint By the night Owls taken hostage As rags dipped in Cyanide Will kill their will Ensuring that even In death They know the value Of being still Knights hiding in the Cloak of darkness Trying to peek at my Veil Taking an inventory of The things I have for sale Pawns bring back information Rattling off the following tidbits Enemy forces impenetrable No lights no insights no visible Weaknesses in sight as victory Might be a daunting task indeed With no love, no hope, no trust No desires the fires leave the Coals in the soul cold as there Is nothing to hold as it has been Told that my soldiers are both brave and bold As they defend my celibacy Shield my vulnerabilities Fight to keep my conscience Clear of debris While protecting the walls Of my soul with rigorous Sacrifice giving their life For the cause of Not falling in love They will defend These walls against Women especially Because they are The most dangerous Enemy Many die As they are stabbed With the daggers That lie Hidden between Their thighs So behind these walls I am guarded and safe And confident in ever Decision I make Banshees try to scare me But I laugh because I Have bishops, witches And priest on my staff Although I may walk through The valley I have no fear Their rod, their staff and spells Protect me as I dwell in my cell Forever Dust has gathered from past lovers Scabs formed from scorn sheets Torn from the toenails and fingernails Of harlots who pretended to want more But got less
nevertheless Decapitation fixed that situation As celibacy defended my needs So I bleed less my happiness Slaying the throats Of all w****s As their jugular veins Pour Blood out on the floor Long Before they can reach Any of my doors No matter how they prance There's no chance For them to advance As the odds Are slim and few From a glance They knew that They had no chance Of getting through As most gates Are defended by hate In towers firepower comes from Snipers In the grass vipers and asps Wait for a chance to bit anyone's A*s trying to get pass as the Water moccasins float In the moat Waiting on the foot soldiers Of hope to risk this But they will quickly be dismissed When they realize this I am impenetrable
