Muse of Jacob

Muse of Jacob

A Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. Dorsey
"

Freeverse

"

In cyber cafes

In coffee shops

I pray

For a moment

A glance

A chance

To hear him

Speak

As I seek

To hear his words

And tell me

Thing I have never heard

Crowds gather

From far and near

Everywhere

As his words

Cause tears to flow

And hearts to

Mend with his pen

As men and women

Along with

Doubting scribes

Try to describe

His cipher

As they try

To decipher

His muse

They are confused

As they try to

Abuse and misuse

His words

Against him

Still I am trying

To touch his hem

Again and Again

So my soul

Can be whole
