The VowA Poem by Jerome F Knox III pseudonym Nefarious J. DorseyFreeverseAt first She was My Genesis Long before She became My Exodus As I slowly Return to that Which I came from The dust She was the wave In my ocean The sand on My beach She was the Shore That had me Yearning for more Just before The farce And after I discovered The true cost I am lost Weeping over The loss No sacrifice No cross My grief Is beyond Belief As I weep Hoping that My Exodus Will be brief As I am marching To and fro Going through Revelations Cause what I am Facing Is nothing new Cause I suspect That you knew I grew In leaps and bounds With you And now that you Are not around I have found That I must do The same Learn from this Pain Vowing never To love this way again
