Writting before Writting

Writting before Writting

A Poem by Bob Smith
"

Self explanatory.

"

And so,

Tonight,

Shed endless tears once more,

Try to bring myself together,

To write one last silent sonnet,

For you alone,

My dear,

I do not seek  your attention,

It is but my swan song,

The end of this story,

Lover do not worry,

For it is a song I'd never let you hear,

The well of tears almost dry,

This heart so slowly, giving in

But before the now frail body hits the ground,

I must sing to you one last song,

For never before have I fallen,

As hard as I fell for you.

I think this piece has a well conveyed message of love.

I like the flow of the write as well as the wonderful language used.

Nice poem!
