Writting before WrittingA Poem by Bob SmithSelf explanatory. And so, Tonight, Shed endless tears once more, Try to bring myself together, To write one last silent sonnet, For you alone,
My dear, I do not seek your attention, It is but my swan song, The end of this story,
Lover do not worry, For it is a song I'd never let you hear,
The well of tears almost dry, This heart so slowly, giving in But before the now frail body hits the ground,
I must sing to you one last song, For never before have I fallen, As hard as I fell for you. © 2008 Bob SmithAuthor's Note
