Beauty Shines

Beauty Shines

A Poem by Rikkevi Rue
"

a candid hard look at life

"

Beauty Shines

Beauty Shines,

like every sunset-stunning,

misty morning,

peaceful dream,

child’s grateful eye.

Life enfolds,

the ugly and the pure,

street-walk failures,

high-mark steppers,

struggle sure.

Never new,

we crawl and clammer,

seek and shelter,

lose and follow that,

which we hold dear.

But only beauty shines,

and only freedom cures.

this poetic radiates in insight . I like the conciseness of the lines , each casting an image that builds toward the coruscating finale

And all else can shimmer but at the end of the day, we are all clammering for a glimpse of the brightness! Exceptional poem xx
