My Soul Thus Sets

My Soul Thus Sets

A Poem by Rikkevi Rue
"

acrostic fashioned after

"

I stand with arms thus raised, to sky embrace

Am I truly intrinsic to this vast expanse?

A sentient witness to divine creation

Man, we damn as less sublime

In spirit yet divinity possesses

Love of nature's wonder inspires him

With depth that casts empyreal light

The beauty of which illuminates

Setting like the vaulted night

Stars winking, each reflects his soul

Thank you. Always fun to participate. Thank you for the opportunity!
