Na Vaqueros (The Cowboys)A Poem by Richard🖌Something different: A VERY NICE TREAT to share, I hope everyone will enjoy. 🌺 Watch videos one at a time and expand to full screen … you'll be happy you did.. Here's a copy of an email received from my best old high school buddy, Randy, who has now lived in Honolulu, Hawaii for many years: Hey, Richard! Couldn't help but think you would appreciate this one in mixed Spanish/Hawaiian harmony. Randy! Father & Son sing "Na Vaqueros" Beautiful hula dance in homage to Na Vaqueros. Spectacular, Randy … thank you so very much! .... Yesteryears .... (a poem inspired by the song, "Na Vaqueros," and youthful memories) What might I say of such grandeur, of treasured words rarely spoken? Grateful for history so pure … rhythmic music's perfect token. Welling from deep in my heart's core, it will always be for certain these tears in my eyes I'll adore, through friendship's shimmering curtain. Might be because you've thought of me, of callow days we'd cruise and sing … spirited voices soaring free, young hearts rising on choral wing. "Na Vaqueros" … a diff'rent song wrought in blended language so new. No doubt we’d be singing along, those joy-filled ways we used to do. Thank you my old friend. Richard W.
