Good morning dearest Richard,
Another wonderful poem of yours to read early this morning here in beautiful France where the country side is deep with varing colours of green.
Your poem full of metaphors beckons me to get back to writing.
In particular this line...
"Two leaves drifting in gent’ly warm, golden love;" The thoughts that run through my mind as I read and reread this line of yours, that says so much, are full of hope that those who have lost love realize that love can be rekindled...the possibilities of starting anew is so refreshing.

Good afternoon to you, Lady Faire, over there in exciting Spainland, while visiting France in an artist's beautifully colour-filled trance.
You seem to possess an uncanny knack for grasping and appreciating the core essence of my ever-hopeful poetry … and, how grateful I truly am that, that single highlighted line once more beckons your gorgeous pen to fill your fingers and our hearts with your endearing words.
Yes, Lisa … may poetic love ever be rekindled! ⁓ Richard🖌
The poet dives deep into the sheer essence of love in a marvelous poetic form; your words are brightening the night sky as shooting stars. This has an Autumn feel to it.
Readers sure feel ecstatic reading these types of poetry.

It's so very nice to receive a review where the reader actually "feels" my poem's essence … it's as though it came from your own heart.
I suppose the drifting golden leaves offer a sort-of Autumn ambiance … good eye!
Your graciously expressed, appreciative praise sings ever-so welcome upon a grateful poet's hopeful ear! ⁓ Richard🖌
With a wisp of poignant gentleness, I am drifting away with those two leaves. Landing who knows where ;) Loving my Sunday afternoon reads!

It is sooo truly wonderful to see You, too.
The sky is cloudy, Olde Sol peeking out;
we're blissfully sharing again, no doubt.
It's the only way, for two splendid poets,
who're enjoying poetry … happy know-its
skipping along, singing a song, side-by-side.
Ohhh-MY! it's been a mutually exciting ride!
I, too, love that you're reading (and, reviewing ME) on a Sunday afternoon.
Big, warm HUGS! ⁓ Richard🖌

The accompanying graphic complements this superbly inked poem sublimely. The visual detail within the poem is stunning! The final two lines of the poem took my breath away, so eloquently expressed, in this beautiful bouquet of words.
Thank you for sharing, dear poet...

A sweet landing in love. Isn't that everyone dreams of and wants? We begin in the stars and tumble together as leaves. Finally united as one. The perfect ending.

Gee I am into such good poetry as yours. About to read more. Thanks :)
An ode to lost love? To have had the brilliance of light afforded by the shooting star. To hope that somehow
that golden love will be revived and once again make love whole. Thank you for this brilliance.

Yes, the Octet can be quite the challenge, but I know you can do it.
