Rarely, Free of You...

Rarely, Free of You...

A Poem by Richard🖌
"

Contemporary Free Verse … to that special someone in each of our lives.

"

.

Rarely, Free of You...

Rarely....

a day's hours pass

free of You.

Rarely....

in quiet moments

daydreams captivated

by your enchanting charms

fail to wrap my

every vibrant sense

in gentlest succulent desire …

of You.

Rarely....

a sunlit daisy

dancing in the breeze

a bold red hibiscus

its heavily pollened pistol

fails in its wondrously

reflected golden smile …

of You.

Rarely....

day's easing end

slips me bare into bed

'twixt smooth inviting sheets,

that living vivid imagery of

lushly soft velvet warmth

is not beside me …

of You.

Rarely....

a day's hours pass

one of your passionately

arousing poems

escapes my

yearning willing lips

evermore lonely breath …

always alive with a

   deepening hunger

of You.

Rarely....

does a night's dream

with you and I in it

sharing, smiling, kissing,

crying, sighing, wantonly

craving satiation's

glorious climax

making-love

do I fail to realize

I'll never; nor,

will ever want to be …

free of You.

This is sensuality at its finest...every word is your adoration of this beautiful woman....compared to almost every other thing in life.....the comparison of nature, your daydreams of her; your notions....this is beautifully written, soft, but sexy at the same time. I enjoyed reading it.

This is an erotic poem filled with the spices of words and images. It looks like a writer has captured your attention and has held it. That's always good inspiration, isn't it.

Great writing, Richard.
