This poem is so lovely it plays like a melody.
So tender and silky, it speaks to me.
How many hearts have you stolen or left throats swollen?
My dear man you are a rare gift with song,
Please don't keep me not waiting long
For another chance to hear your voice
Please understand I have no choice.
I'd love to dance to your tune
In the hour of midnights first June.
(Ok hardly is it advice to give or comment made. But I had to answer in this way, for to read your words is to dance in celebration to a man who celebrates women. Thank you for sharing

Sighhh! Such a compellingly stirring review you've gifted this doting poem and its graciously pleased author.
You certainly know how to catch a bard's attention, charming him with a delightfully sweet, warmly imaginative verse of your own.
Seems you celebrate men every bit as enjoyably as I do women.
For answering in the way you have, please, accept my warmest hug of thanks to thee, Dear Poetess! ⁓ Richard 🍃
What a lovely tribute to all the women writer, here! You made her graceful, precious... Nothing more a poetess can ask for!
Perhapse, you are write... She blends her heart and soul with her writing and a praise worthy generous heart can recognize that thing in her.... I am so humbled by this tribute to all the lovely ladies here...

I really like this. The rhyming was nicely done and the image it was paired with is very pretty. The only thing I would notice that it was a bit hard to read because of the font and coloring, but that could just be me. Overall, really well done in my opinion (though that's not worth much.) Good job!

Your wonderful words of appreciation and praise truly are as gold to a hopeful bard's ear.
I regret the font reading "a bit hard" on your screen … it's the first anyone's commented as such. Here's the poem in plain block letters, for your ease of enjoyment, and because it's about You (tho, I couldn't center it for you). ; )

U l t i m a t e Po e t e s s✨

Her ink vibrates in universal amplitude,
with such sure vibrant force pure ecstasies exude …
releasing with each graceful sweep of every stroke,
her words resound upon the page, as tho’ they'd spoke.
-~✶~-
Her flowing mane, as ebon as the Stygian night,
or golden as soft-textured braids, corn-silken bright.
I’ve seen her auburn waves, as hot as Hades’ fire;
or, lustrous brunette strands, that spark ardent desire.
-~✶~-
Oh, passion’s touch, awake unto life’s fervent dreams,
that evermore, desires and wantings merge as streams.
From every heartsong pours her sweet elixir’s voice,
eternal rapture ~ captured … aye, you'll have no choice.
-~✶~-
The shape she takes, it may be lithe or slightly slim …
might be, she’s strong or stout; perhaps, just prim.
She’s every woman who has bravely shared her heart,
learned how to charm us with her wonders from the start.
-~✶~-
Each smitten bard in every land and realm worldwide,
has surely yearned to have her writing by his side …
impressive with her graceful wisdom’s keen surprise,
indulge him with the magic in her spark’ling eyes,
-~✶~-
If Free Verse, Sonnet, Villanelle, or lovely Prose,
it matters not what kind of poem she bestows;
for, when she blends her heart and soul into her ink,
it's hers you'll be ~ when she signs with a knowing wink*
༺-~✶~-༻
The second stanza sounds a lot like Petrarch with the description of the hair! Might he have been an inspiration there?

So many artists and worlds of learning have been an influence on my writing over the years, that I no longer know exactly who or what inspired my pen … maybe, you're right in your assertion, but not consciously on my part.

This reminds me of what I first learned poetry to be. Thank you for the beautiful read!

I am graciously blessed you've selected this work in respect and honor to You, a fine, accomplished Poetess and most wonderful lady.
You are quite correct, too … this is true poetry at its classical best, just as there are almost endless forms and types of quality poetry. Many can be read and enjoyed on here that are composed and shared by excellent poetesses, including You.
My warmest hug of gratitude, with a grand 2021 to You, Dear Poetess ⁓ Richard 🍃
Hey Sir Richard!
Hope you'd remember me because I do very well. I'm revisiting writerscafe after so long, like after ages... I've been depressed, lacking any desire to write anymore, procrastinating a lot.
Coming to this excellent poem,
I truly felt a connection. It feels like my kinda poetry.
It is a poem praising a poetess, crowning her for her glory.
As you try to carve out all her details, her portrait fills my eyes!
The picture is perfect.
Thank you so much for sharing a poem worth millions in my view.

The news of your depression and writer's block saddens my heart, but to see you back reading and reviewing me makes it happy again.
You are ever-so welcome, Tazeen … welcome home, M'Dear, and thank you warmly for your sweet review! ⁓ Richard 🍃
