Only six reviews is a crime. Life goes on beyond us as it did for our ancestors. On the next block over from me, there's a cemetery. Each time I walk past I think of what they did in their lives. And life is awful short too.

A true artist must learn to be graciously and humbly grateful for every appreciative eye cast his way.

Still, I think it sucks to have 91 Views and only 9 Reviews, It's enough to give a hopeful bard an incurable complex … LOL!

I agree, Tim, that life (as we know it) is short.

i loved the line "Riding life's turning wheel". i feel some people seem to have square wheels & often get stuck on the flat side without progression.

I, too, have written numerous poems with "The Great Wheel of Life", the "Mandala", etc; in it; as-well, fate, kismet, destiny, karma, etc; but, I am sure you're right about my borrowing it from You this time … thanks, always, for your bright inspirations. 🌸

And, I must agree with you: Viewed from a typical human perspective, it is sad, indeed, when each of us flow from this existence to the next (wherever/whatever that may be), leaving those who loved and cared about us behind … yet, in the ultimate scheme of being, we each are travelers/drifters/mere transpirations of all that is; though, ever a constant presence, a total unity of the Great All ⁓ we're simply, passing through this worldly dimension as minūte sparks of energy.

You got me thinking, obviously. : )
