"The Best Of Dreams"
The best of dreams are those I dream of You, revealed within our aching lust's desire. Oh, cherished one, I love the things you do, you raise me up and set my soul a’fire.
Your hungry mouth, it wakes my sleeping eyes; then, travels to a place we know as bliss. I feel your warm, wet lips there on my thighs, as stars explode throughout each wondrous kiss.
Inside our veins there flows a molten stream; upon love's wind, ride like the steed of night, release all inhibitions from our dream, as though they’ve risen-up and took to flight. Our fiery breath leaves trails across the sky, those silver spangled bedsheets twirl and crease. In rhythmic flow pearl rivers never dry, like lovers soaked in passion’s full release. Two naked flames light up the skies above; our glow’s a beacon to the world below. The best of dreams are those with You, my love … and ours, the dreams I'm never letting go.
I remember this from Writers' Network, it strikes me now! wow! how many years have passed, I was poetically naive lol. sensual, yet written with sincere emotions. the whole poem is about the union of two souls, travel the universe and be one with it, still the last two verses are the crest. it is where Love flows to the higher meanings and bloom beauty to the world.

The great circle of life returns us time and again to those moments most treasured that became such a wondrously permanent part of our minds, hearts, souls, and memories … so many years elapsed, but this piece even predates our WN days.
Isn't it amazing how even passing years do not deplete a meaningfully lovely poem's vibrant spirit?
The final two verses speak to me, too … isn't it remarkable how we always seem to harmonize?
Hm? Must have something to do with wavelengths crossing paths.
Thank you dearly, M'Charming Lady-Poet

A very torrid but garlanded in delicacy, reflects how passion can surge above and over mere animal sexuality. As expressed so, there is indeed a difference. Thanks for sharing.

For selecting this vista of romantically sensual extravaganza of fancy to read and review.
It does take one on a rather steamy flight into realms and scenarios of vivid dreamland imaginings most could only fantasize and wish for.
In such a piece as this, the degree of tender sensuality or raw eroticism depends on where one's imagination takes them, and that could be sooo many delightful places.
The exoticness of this poem is beaming! The dreams of passion through the night, two sparks that light manifest fireworks. A private show for two. Those are dreams not worth letting go. Exquisite, exotic, magnificent,. I loved reading this! Beautifully penned.

That you love anything about any part of my poetry is exciting to the nth degree; for, it so warmly and deeply gratifies a hopeful bard's earnest efforts to write for, touch, and inspire someone's passion in the ways it has yours.
What more could be asked, appreciated, or so highly enjoyed?

The tenderness and warmth of your inquiringly emotive words bring forth two distinct possible answers: This poem touches and awakens certain fantasies, dreams, desires, and imagery of deeply sentimental memories that live within your breast. Or, could be what you've always secretly wanted and yearned for, maybe, even ached for, but it has yet to be.
Then, perhaps, tit's simply the sensual beauty, romantic tenderness, imagery, and warming sensations, etc; of the poetry itself that reaches in to embrace something that feels wondrously precious and inviting.
See what the power of your few words inspired within an old bard's heart
My most grateful hugs, Cheyenne ⁓ Richard🖌

What a wonderful, evocative, sensory-laden poem of love, passion, desire, and, I think, underlying yearning, or wistfulness. I’ve read it several times, and it just gets better.

For your spirit-lifting sentiments in review, and for your patience in awaiting this tardy response … to be blamed on an always overloaded teaching agenda.
Certainly, your appreciatively encouraging comments and praise for this rather "spicy" piece, have gratified and blest an old bard's earnest efforts and hopes to please at least one gracious reader's sense of enjoyment.
Following several reads, I'm more than a little bit grateful for your sincerely welcomed visit! ⁓ Richard🖌
Very steamy my dear Richard. The passion is pervasive throughout this very moving poem. So many wonderful lines. Thank you for sharing!

There's no telling when I might spontaneously combust and melt into my own socks; then, overflow into yours.
It truly pleasures a bard's senses knowing you favor so much of this sensuously spicy piece.
I'm so very grateful to you, Temperance, for reading and gifting me such lovely accolades.
Warmest hugs to You ⁓ Richard🖌
Oh goodie..goodie..I found a poem of yours I have not read.
I am again moved by your exquisite words my dear Richard.

such a wonderful line.
Leaving from Madrid tomorrow for home..by train..

I'm so very thrilled by your exuberance, but there are far more poems of mine you've not read than there those you have … that is, indicated by those you've reviewed, which, for each, I am ever-so grateful.
I must agree, the line you've selected to love serves as a powerful pivot point in this rather alluring composition.
Ummm, "by train" … so many enthralling layers of imagery that inspires within my fertile imagination. Bon voyage, Poetess!
Thank you most gratefully for your graciously lovely review … hugs! ⁓ Richard🖌

I had to read this with my eyes closed. Then I peeked in the last stanza and got blinded by the brilliant light two flames can throw on my innocent mind. The form of your fire reads flames of desire to read your pages higher and higher. On my way up to the next one. This one was hot!
