Beautiful piece. I feel these types of poems particularly challenging, as you know I view structure and rhyme to be tough to convey emotion, and why I like to stop by. The thing for me I like the best is the use of You in capitals. That said, I wonder if You're should be in capitals as well... either way, it is a lovely poem that beautifully conveys a reverence for the subject

It is gratifying, too, that you found something to favor "best" out of all this work offers … "the use of 'You' in capitals".
Thank you ever-so warmly, too, for the gracious praise.

You are surely a master of words, Richard. Each poem is spellbinding and rich in poetic verse. After reading your poems, my own seem so flat. But I'm fine with that. (for now) :)

And, goodness, buddy, what gratifying compliments to receive from one of the site's truly accomplished writers (and, I'm keeping 'em)… your penultimate comment, totally untrue. : )
Bless you, My Fine Poet Friend, for gracing my humble page! ⁓ Richard
This exquisitely well express/written poem, slowly got me mentally seating on a green mountain, overlooking a colorful small flowers valley, in a wonderful summer day, as I step in the world of this true love that only soulmate lovers know. The flow is Beautiful. I can only espire to achieve this level one day dear friend.

The site (again) did not tell me you'd been by to sweeten my pages with your warm, gentle touches, your soft, tender whispers, and caressing words that paint heavenly affections into my enthralled mind.
Talk about beautiful, the scene you created will embrace my senses quite wondrously for the days and weeks to come.
Thank you dear, lovely poetess, ever-so warmly … hugs! ⁓ Richard ; )
What a beautiful pin! Your words so poignant, so infectious to the minds eye, it brings us out of our world and into this world that only true lovers know. So fervently described that no matter where we may find ourselves, in the center of a passionate embrace or outside looking in, we feel the feelings and experience the emotion, and in fact believe it to be possible for us, even at those times that we find ourselves in the periphery of such diolog.
My favorite lines,
"Tho, many times inside my heart
You came to me in dreams,
never shall another impart
the wonders of these schemes …"
Speaks so clearly of the entanglement of souls, the connection to consciousness.
Once again #applause and thank you truly for sharing the experience with us!

MMmmm, how deliciously you've climbed into this one with sweet warmth and the scintillating caresses of a woman who knows and understands that which love and lovemaking are all about.
Ironically, the verse you've highlighted is among my favorites … go figure! ; )
How welcome you are, Sweet Rosalee.
Bless your beautiful heart … a kiss for thee! ⁓ Richard 🎶

You are so incredibly welcome! Enjoy your works and your words always! ✍️, 😁
William Blake has come alive before my eyes.
I thought this poem was wonderful and sensually delightful. The use of You to show the importance of the woman in your life was marvelous and a stroke of genius. You really take the raw intensity of burning passion between two people in love and use it to touch your readers. I can only think you have felt this way about someone, as that is the only way to invoke such potent sentiments.
There is nothing here to critique.

It is wonderful to see you've been here enjoying one of my rather warm, shared selections.
To have my poem mentioned in the same breath as William Blake raises goosies all over … LOL!
Actually (maybe, disappointedly) this particular piece, as many of my others, was composed from dreams, fantasies, and imagined scenarios derived from observing life, reading, and movies.
However, I cannot deny a certain personal acquired knowledge and experience in such things. ; )
Thank you ever-so warmly for choosing one of my humble pieces, for your expressed enjoyment, and your lovely, inspiring praise, Lady Mika🌼 ⁓ Richard
a true Love story is never long, because it never end, it grows and flows as Your words started with, ended with, and wanted to continue with, more. sometimes words are never enough and as our heart beats with them, we try to bring the same beat into our page, the past is the same, but when the one comes into our life we see it again all differently, the now, the future... what our life is all about, lays, was laying, will be laying within our loved ones.
the sincerity of Your words, the faithfulness, the serenity, the purity of each beat of Your heart composing such magnificent phrases, make this poem gently remarkable, it feels royal.
always a pleasure to read You, to feel Your royal ink.

I love the way you cover all the tenses of new lovers laying together … beautifully said!
Sooo, my poetry and ink feel "royal" to you … what a gratifying compliment!
Oh my what a saucy sensational poem in enviable flow wow! You know what I find it ESP flattering that men can kiss even our sweaty toes, mine doesn't seem to mind any sweat on me so those lines in your poem made me smile. But my favourite were these lines, "
Tho, many times through forests strolled,
I’d always been alone;
then, You made flow’rs and leaves unfold
like e’er I’d never known " , that was soo creatively phrased and delights my flower lover heart. Awesome classic style poetry wow! Kudos.
So nice to read from u again, u may read my newest poem too.

I am so very happy to know how this piece makes you feel … what better could a bard wish for?
it is long and repetitive but i think it is because of true passion felt ...we do try hard to express feelings as best we can ... and i confess ..always fall short ..but that is our inspiration too isn't it?! ... when i have attempted more classical forms it is difficult to use the langauge as i speak it ..some forms almost demand a return to the language used when the form evolved ... this one kind of weaves its way in and out of that ... not sure what i think of its effectiveness .. probably need to read a couple more times ;) in these two lines:
"Blood thawed, once cold, begin to flow;" and
"hot blood begin to pound."
did you use "begin" instead of begins on purpose? i want to put begins in there but i do see how it can be otherwise ... your theme for me in this one is its biggest strength .. that kind of love is pretty special ... in all its colorful aspects ... the connections of true love and commitment are inspiring to me .. this feels personal Richard ... i am happy for all who are in love .. blessings my friend!

Not one of my best efforts … I think I was stumbling along trying to get out all the passion that was overflowing in the moment.
I, often, get so carried away I have to go back and trim about half the lines and verses from my pieces … LOL! This is one I, probably, should have whittled on.
Thanks for your always keen eye in spotting the obvious I seem to always miss … you watch my back, as a good friend should, eh? : )
True, too, it is personal; at least, from the standpoint that it was derived from my experiences, combined with those of others I've witnessed.
Often, I'll take whatever is in me and just let it flow out into a scenario that seems to take on a life all its own … this is one of those.
Thank you, My Friend, for reading this rather verbose, marathon Ballad and leaving your special touch.
Happy blessings to ya! ⁓ Richard : )
