Every Time "Oh, woe is me, he’s gone away . . .
deprived me of his heart!"
He told me that he’d come to stay;
tho, lied right from the start, but when the heart, it falls in-love,
there’s no denying it;
for, when it comes to push ’n shove,
love’s a great benefit. All of the parts we may’ve forgot
suddenly come alive;
each rose and forget-me-not . . .
a colorful surprise! Still, most of all I must refrain:
"Despite it’s so sublime,
I’ll never fall in-love again!"
I vow it . . . "every time!"
Laughing cos i somehow knew it would finish with words such as 'every time'! How hearts ache when things go worng, amiss" BUT how we love the feeling of LOVE.. and thank goodness, take chance after chance to discover what that word really, really, really means" After all, if one doesn't taste the wine, how do we know how ripe is the grape!
Fine poem, has a little bravado, a hint of naughtiness, a touch of tears then.. that laugh and hope at the finish!

Thank you most happily for finding and enjoying this cute little piece, and, especially, for sharing the sensations and ways you felt in envisioning the scenario.
I love how you always lend a bit of your own life's garnered wisdom … those heartaches you seem to have such a delightful knack of turning into treasures.
You really know how to praise and reward an olde bard's humble efforts to please and entertain his readers — You, amongst my very favorite … cosy hugs 'n happy blessings, Dear Lady-Poet! ⁓ Richard
I have said the below words many times.
"Despite it’s so sublime,
I’ll never fall in-love again!"
I vow it . . . "every time!"
Time heal us and we become brave again. Thank you Richard for sharing the amazing poetry.

Hey Richard. Cheeky verse. Well laid and thought out. The syllable count impeccable, of course. I know that as an occasional rhymer it can be quite a puzzle at times to fit everything together, unless your constantly injecting the romantics into your blood stream. If that is the case, well I bet you catch yourself making rhymes in everyday conversation. It's like when you spend all day mowing the grass and when you close your eyes at night, all you see is grass. Anyway, I really like it. CD
