Richard!!! Thanks for passing this along! I did very much enjoy it! Funny, we dais the same things in different ways. The truth of things is really quite simple though. You've captured the essence of humanity here, if one would pause long enough to reflect.
Nicely done! I loved the presentation overall as well. The footnote and little note at the beginning about infinite blending. I think that's my favorite part.

I thought you might find it interesting that we both metaphorically spoke of the true spiritually transcendental connections between us all.
Simple, yes … yet, a rarely addressed theme, poetically speaking.
It's ever-so pleasurable knowing you've enjoyed my version as much as I enjoyed yours … but, why not, seeing as how we are "one," You 'n I. ⚤
Surprise, surprise! The lines you've highlighted are among my favorites, too.
Thank you, Seriana, for your most gracious review! ⁓ Richard🖌

Connections go farther then most of us know. The energy of ones thoughts float through the air and often land on just the right person...who feels and understands.
I really do enjoy free verse poetry as I find it unique ... often full of hidden meanings.
The idea of Unity in your poem rings so true to me ... we are in the end all the same...hopes, desires, pain, etc. If we judge then we are actually projecting ...

The keen consciousness of intelligence, broad understanding, and connected empathy are definitely your forte.
Conclusively, most of our lives are so materialistically inclined and otherwise involved there is scant possibility of being on the same wavelength with others … thus, the bent of this poem, though, understood in theory, the actuality of living its essence will be lost to many.
Excellent review, Lady-Poet.
Thank you ever-so gratefully! ⁓ Richard 🖌

This is an interesting thought on Unity. Aren't we connected in more ways than meets the eye? We like to judge other people but at the same time we should also judge ourselves because we are also capable of having emotions, we have an education, and we can feel things. That is what we all have in common. Your free verse poem is interesting. I found that even though you repeat numerous words in your poem, it still reads rhythmic without sounding too repetitive if that makes sense.

You hit the core essence of this piece dead center.
This one is a great illustration for the range and versatility of Free Verse, and how meaning, method, metaphor, and depth can effectively exceed some of this form's requirements* and still be good Free Verse, *but not all of them.
Reading and studying forms teaches the writer to think outside the box while following the "rules;" yet, educating to the level where one knows when and how to effectively go beyond "them", and how far to go.
Thank you for reading and commenting … all the best! ⁓ Richard🖌
This is indeed one of the most interesting ' pondering within a Pondering' sorta poem I've read here this far! And yes, I completely agree, though we may be just one being, but we are so much more than that normal one-character thing people see us to be.We play so many roles, we often ourselves don't realize!😊 Emotionally, intellectually, and behaviorly, we are all one and the individual of the same species, which helps us relate and percieve others and binds us so well!
Thankyou for writing and sharing this magnificent piece, Richard😊 idk what inspired you to write this, and I won't ask😀 but I'm glad to have read such a piece which was so logical and ponderable at the same time!😊
Happy writing!

Sometimes, the site does not notify me of a review, and this is the only excuse I have, but I'll make it up to you.
For as much as you believe this is "one of the most interesting poems", I believe your review is equally so, and even more, because you add new meaning and interest I did not consider … I love inspiration, and you are full of it.
You have, indeed, blessed me in a very special way, Saumya … happy hugs to you! ⁓ Ricjard : D

*SMILE* my pleasure, dear Richard! and you're most welcome :)
(((Hugs back)))
I love the twist words my friend.
"So, judge me not, lest ye judge yourself
at the precise moment ...
as, we are surely one,"
I liked the above lines. Thank you Richard for sharing the amazing poetry.

My version of being lighthearted.

To make this connection with this soul within
Only then do we find this love for others
And true sense of being

I really admire your use of language in this piece. Your words are not wasted, you write with fluidity and eloquence while keeping a deft and pointed simplicity. I think it is those qualities that make this poem work. I think if you had approached this concept with any more "fluff" and with less precision, the point might have been lost and the effect, dampened.
I also really appreciate he concept itself. I personally have not read a poem which tackles this idea in quite the same way. The line, "So, judge me not, lest ye judge yourself" really stood out to me as it really drove home the significance of the preceding lines; very powerful. I really cannot think of any significant critiques to offer you as I think this poem has been well conceived and is truly wonderful to read. It had a calming effect on me, almost as though i could hear someone murmuring the lines with hypnotic conviction. I come away buying into every word you offer. Very nice!

Your thoughtful, insightful, and intelligent review assure me my efforts to write, share, and please have not been wasted, as do your expressed praise and appreciation gratify my hope the simple message comes through clear and concise.
To fully grasp and be captured by the essence of this rather "different" piece (let's say), requires an open mind and keen insight … it seems you have no trouble, whatsoever, following the premise of its message.
How marvelous to write for someone who not only "sees" me, but who knows how to let me know they do … hugs 'n blessings of many thanks, Hailey, for such a delightful and meaningful review! ⁓ Richard
