Oh I like this new form, and I might be able to reproduce it since it has no particular meter, we will see what I come up with.
Great imagery all through this and I'm not sure I can pick out one line or stanza that I particularly like more than others. Passion to make the gods blush, and tangos from Bolero, added to doves coo (I'm thinking mourning doves) adds up to a successful poem with an intriguing new form to play with.
never disappointed when I visit, you my friend.

That you like my form is especially gratifying and pleasing to a hopeful bard's ernest efforts.
With your brilliant skills composing in one of my forms, it excites me more than just a little … please, let me know if and when you do.
You do know how to make me violently blush, and HOW!
Thank you so much, Jan, for praising and appreciating me … it means far more than mere words.
Hugs! ⁓ Richard

Very sweet and sensual. A fine style. I am sure one can have a fine time trying to emulate it. Would be a wonderful experience.
Each stanza has a beautiful, smooth flow to it. I love this the best:
...Their yearnings entwined
while stars came aligned,
a course charted two hearts would take.
Desires blended one
as warm as the sun,
each knowing they'd never forsake.

You've selected of on my favorite verses to highlight, but I am not at all surprised. :)
This is a beautiful poem that is very romantic and it is also quite uplifting to read. Additionally I love how it has a flow to it with rhythm and rhyming that you put so much work into and that is amazing! I have to say that you are one of my favorite writers so far that I've read and I hope you keep writing amazing poems and other additional writings!

Dear Richard,
In my reviews I might have said in 1000s of expressions how lovely your poesy is, but what I want to tell you today is your poetry makes me feel so gorgeous and pure about love and love-making. Usually I tell you how I admire the wondrous play of nature and man's carnal desires, but today I will say, how ecstatic your poetry makes me feel, it feels me with an empirical rush, that is reserved within my blood, and my very bones, I love this poetry so much, it is beautiful, enchanting, mesmerising, and this is evoked by the nature of love, desire, and destiny that surrounds the lover, through nature, through gods, through purity, and through themselves, I am spirited by this read, and it's not only joyfully blushing but so irresistible. You write poetry for the very soul, Richard, for our trinity of Mind, Heart, and Soul, pleasing every sense that hasn't been awakened yet, tearfully enchanting read, I still simmer in the very recesses of the subliminal nature and the nature of love, thank you for this :) your form of poetry always compliments the theme of your poem and your art, Sir, you've mastered the art of poesy. :)

One thing to know about my reading voice, Todd … it is less than sonorous, youthful, in fact … not exactly very suitable for reciting poetry.
Well, I would like to thank you, again, for selecting one of my pieces to read and review, My New Friend … many grateful blessings to you! ⁓ Richard
You need to have a "erotic warning" on this one..
So old ladies as myself can take their heart meds, before..
Wow and woo hoo...If only..........sigh
Favorite ;
The mockingbird's trill,
dove's soft cooing thrill,
in ways only lovers can hear.
This much is assured,
no lovelier's heard
by woman or man's mortal ear;
Thanks..next time a head's up...LOL..........Ha !
Jazzy..............ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I am so happy you selected this nice little poem to read and enjoy, but you'll never convince me you're an "old lady" … your spirit and beautiful heart are simply too happy and alive for me to believe otherwise. You've the marvelous outlook of a lovely young woman, and beauty to match, if you'll not too greatly mind me saying so.
Your comments did urge a soft smile upon my lips, too … very enjoyably.
I love the stanza you've selected, as it is among my favorites. ☺️
Your review is special and endearing, Jasmine … it's left a warm glowing touch … thank you so very much! ⁓ Richard

Since you have been so helpful, where do I get artwork? Probably sounds silly to those who know, but I have only found photos, etc with watermarks and would love a shortcut. Any tips? :) My pea brain, you know. :/

There is a plethora of writings to excite the senses, becoming lost to in one's moments here, and I, too, find it more alluring than prudence would preach, letting other equally deserving aspects of aims onsite to suffer, in result.
Not a silly question at all ; we only know hat we know "after" learning it, and I'll never accept that your brain is pea-sized; so, no more of that! : )
Most of the artwork I use is found on Google search (which most is copyrighted, requiring note of it and credit given, when used) or Wikimedia Commons (which is not copyrighted and is freely available to public domain, without credit required).
Anything else, just gimme a tap on the shoulder.
Absolutely amazing style of writing.. lovely and impressive.. the poem too carries a good sound..well written.. keep up..

I highly and sincerely appreciate your praise and that you selected one of my original forms to read and critique.
The first step to writing a great poem is to learn the rules for the form you wish to compose it in (and, all poetry is in some poetic form, or it would not be poetry — even Free verse has rules), then to follow those rules perfectly, speaking is as pure a poetic voice as is possible for you … after that, it is a matter of practice and correction, until you have it just the way you want it to be.
If you need help or advice along the way, I will be most willing to offer it.
Many blessings to you! ⁓ Richard
