~ Tawddgyrch Cadwynog ~ (pronounced Tuth-girk Cod-ee-know) This is one of the easiest; but, I think, most beautiful of the classical Welsh poetic forms. There are several versions, but this one is: Rhyme scheme : abbc addc, aeec, affc. Stanza Type : Quatrains, centered Syllables : 8 per line Verses : 4 or more
This is a beautiful, heartfelt piece Richard... it shows such warmth ,bravery and softness. " Love soft winds flow through" ... and I will protect you from any storm, because our hearts are now one.... and nothing bad can touch you. I reached by the force of the strong winds that blew me to your soul. I love the rhyming pattern here too Richard.... a scene from a love story. Well done!
Best, B.

True, an American~Welsh love story of reassurance (now, 7-years past), appropriately writ in a Welsh poetry form.
That you love anything about it is an inspiring gift to an olde bard's hopeful self. : )

It is such a thrill to know my artistic efforts are so loved, and that you think this one is amazing and awesome … such praise I never expected, but I'm keeping it right here in my pocket.
I feel sooo humbled and blessed.
Thank you ever-so warmly! ⁓ Richard🖌
Don't know how constructive I can be as my grasp of the English language has always been lacking, but yes English is my first language, but some people have questioned that.
The one thing I do know is anytime I am going to read one of your pieces of work, I am in for a learning experience. I don't completely understand the style, but it, as with all of your work is beautiful and thank you for sharing beautiful words of love and protecting you love. Well done.

Your first line spread a wide grin across my olde mug, because I know your English is every bit as good (if not better) than my own, and anyone questioning this would have to question theirs … LOL!
I cannot thank you enough, My Friend, for your praise and expressed appreciation of this reassuring piece of romantic whimsy, but my most grateful thank to you, anyway, Willard! ⁓ Richard

I is so nice to see you've selected another of my humble efforts to read and comment on, and I cannot imagine a more lovely one than this, My Friend.
Your praise is as mana unto my hopes to share and be appreciated, and from such an accomplished poet as yourself, it truly inspires me to keep writing and hoping.
How wonderful of you to note my special efforts, too, in trying to enhance my readers' experience.
What an excellent review, Ron … you've truly blessed this lovely lovers' poem.
Thank you so very much! ⁓ Richard
Very interesting how the storm is made analogous to the storm that all lovers hearts must go through; and very beautiful language in a new (for me) and interesting form. Beautiful write Richard!
