                         ~ Bring to Us ~

.-~*~-.

Bring to us sunshine, no more rain.
Bring us laughter, no more pain.

.-~*~-.

Bring to us flowers, no more weeds.
Bring us love to fill our needs.

.-~*~-.

Bring to us softness, no more stones ...
praise each other in happy tones.

.-~*~-.

Bring to us life’s bright evermores,
in beauty eternal 'pon verdant shores.

.-~*~-.

Bring to us moments we all can share,

with wondrous glory, in softest care.

.-~*~-.

Bring to us truth, that we may know,
our sweet souls through ~ each others
’ flow.

-~*~-.

'Bring to Us'
Richard,
Hmm..even though this is a love sonnet it spoke to me of the need within the human soul for what defines us. To care for this world we must be open. This is a transparent and an open heart piece. It speaks to the deepest spring within. In taking this in I found myself encouraged to not give up on this crazy world; it's confusion and it's so called portrayal of what is real. What is real is as old fashioned as a listening ear and a non judgmental attitude and a willingness to hang in there and just be patient.
Blessings,
Kathy

Beautiful, it almost reads of a prayer..or song. For some reason it reminds me of the Beatitudes. Those tender wishes, sigh... if only could be.

...reading is like dipping a toe in a cool water fountain...feeling the splash of all the sweet desires stanza after stanza...it speaks of love on the highest plane...a sharing for all...there should be an AMEN...thus: AMEN!
