I have chills and I am crying dearest Richard..
I love everything about this Poem.. I decided to read it today because of the one you are helping me with....8 counts..
Your choice of nature with words like "coloured with love".. all so musical...( played music to my ears....) birds, rainbows, "dash of springs"..and on and on.
I could feel this poem..well, as I said..chills and tears.
Just so amazing.. going back now to read it again..

I'm so sorry to make you cry, but I'm thinking your tears and chills are not from sadness or cold.
I'm so very glad you chose this one, Lisa, because it is the epitome of imagery, emotive intent, poetic syntax, metered flow, metaphor, and prosody so important for you to learn on your way to mastering poetry.

How pretty this is. I see from the author's note an eight syllable line poem is a quatrain. That is good to learn. Probably everyone else knows this but still I am so happy to see an example of this in your work above.Maybe I will grow into more classic writing. Who knows? Anyway your romantic style is so winsome and lovely like a heart song.
This appealed to me so much:
"For ink, I used the golden sun,
then blended-in the stratosphere...
rainbow's colors for melody,
a dash of springs, sparkling clear."

PS: ANY four line verse is a Quatrain, regardless of syllable-count or rhyme scheme, or no rhymes at all.
A Quatrain just has to be at least one verse with four lines … each line in any length. 👨‍🎓

As your pen writes away, the eyes of the reader get enthralled by the cadence and the melodious thoughts of the one that fills the void in your heart, that adds color to your days, and brings affection to the highest peaks.

These quatrains count the minutes of a love's revelation which is soon to be embraced by the adored one. So beautiful and free is the sentiment.

The presentation of this poem is beautiful. I really like the colors of the background and the font.
