Free Verse (lines of poetry written in a poetic voice, with no particular structure, no rhymes, that flows, with line-breaks in smooth and comfortable places)
Soft, gentle and perfect words my friend.
"in these quiet places, let me be
the sole reason your arms,
your moist lips, and
your world
exists."
A amazing poem. I had to read again. Thank you Richard for sharing the amazing poetry.

Ever the gentleman, you always elect something meaningful and pertinent from a writer's efforts to let them know you appreciate and relate with them in some meaningful way.
This is reward of a truly appreciated kind, My Fine Friend … bless you with many smiles! ⁓ Richard
an invitation to voyeur a little ;) very soft romance .. funny that in contrast a past love of mine in direct contrast was a fiery, Irish, red head; that warned me from the start :) and the 4 yrs of raging storm and passions ended, of course, painfully ...tho many miles apart these days we remain friends. i have to chuckle when you say free form as you couldn't help yourself to mold the verses most precisely ;) its a poem to love love by

it is always my pleasure to read your writings sir
I love all forms of creative writing and poetry...but every once in awhile you read something that is more than mere words on paper, following a predetermined pattern. Sometimes the words touch more than your mind...they are processed on a deeper, more instinctual level. Reading this is like taking a clean, crisp breath of frosty winter morning air after the first snowfall, or reclining on a lounge enjoying the cool breeze that kisses sun-warmed skin. It's a sigh of pleasure. Thank you for sharing.

Oh I love this, it's got just enough kick for a wee tremble. :)
Apparently, 'ever-willing, hungry fingers' was behind this steamy rendezvous. Excellent.

Never too long for me, as I tend to shrink from poetry too short to immerse myself in before it's over. This is a luscious piece, filled with sensuality, as you say, some of it making me blush because it reads as if to me the reader rather than about you and another. I feel a little vulnerable, a little swept into its rhythms and hues. If I can imagine my husband reading it to me, I am better off; if I can imagine us on a blanket, in a field, soft spring day, with him holding a book open to your poetry, a prelude to closing it gently at the end and leaning in to kiss me . . . Well, then I feel I am not eavesdropping on another's intimate moment, but taking it as my own. I cannot critique the form and words/phrases as written- all exceptionally expressed. It is only the intimacy itself that I can comment on- because I am in the picture somehow as I read it, being pulled into the trance, and stepping away, "but I'm married" I say. You set the scene so beautifully, I could not remain outside of it, unless I conjured my husband's voice in your melodious tones. Just a swooning woman's perspective, I guess.

I enjoy how we both seem to "immerse" ourselves ever-so nicely in each others' poetry and comments, very much.
Warmest hugs for sharing you, your, thoughts, feelings, and emotions … what more could one ask, eh? ⁓ Richard ; )
Phenomenal in romanticism...such lush and soft hewn imagery that evoked not just the juices in my inspiritory glands but warmed cockles of a heart dulled by relentless modern circumstance yet instantaneously forgotten once eyes mind soul stepped upon this, your gorgeously enlightened land...
