The first rule of photography always was: ''BE THERE''. Lot of people wouldn't take photographs because of the impossibility for them to ''be there''. To that, I want to object then in this case '''BE HERE'' exactly where you are; look around you there is a world that belongs to you, that surround you and that is worth exploiting.
The first step is BE AWARE of your environment; let yours inside radar work; seeking form light texture, pre-visualizing events. The next sight could be already just under your nose or at your feet ....or behind you!
Then also remember the Boy Scouts' motto ''ALWAYS READY/BE PREPARED'' have your gear ready, close by I never left home without it even if it just your cell phone camera. It's useless to be at.... let say ''the next UFO landing'' if you do not have your camera with you.
And the last thing is drop the computer, drop Face Book get you camera, move your a*s and GET OUT . But do not be shy to Show us the result SHARE YOUR PICT, be proud of your work 'cause work it is !
