ADHDA Poem by Richard GuimondAttention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) view from insideADHD[1] (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder) by Richard Guimond ©2015
My mind
runs so fast that I want to finish before starting As you
evoqued a topic I already digressed on it, what's next? No
enough time to express myself without interruption As you
talk I need to notify, to confirm, to object As I talk
, simultaneously I think ahead on another channel When I
listen, simultaneously I think on several channels I listen
as I fast read grasping the main
idea right away Like
Chinese ideogram other words superfluous to your narration What,
you are still there? I digressed, three topics ago Not my
fault, if you're so slow and can't follow my flow
[1] Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are terms used to
describe pa tterns of behaviour that appear most
often in school-aged children. Children with these disorders are inattentive,
overly impulsive and, in the case of ADHD, hyperactive. They have difficulty
sitting still or attending to one thing for a long period of time, and may seem
overactive. https://www.cmha.ca/mental-health/understanding-mental-illness/attention-deficit-disorders/ The same with some adult... like Me!
