Thundering orders from a father
Sweet reassuring voice of a mother
Broken glass words of a brother
Velvet sweet whisper of a lover

Such power in four lines. I love it. The entire stanza has an overall message and so does each line. And then that last line hit me. It will be 9 months before I can have those velvet word whispered in my ear. I've only been gone a week and I already miss her voice in my ear. Thank you for your poetry.
