Old Soda Bottle Caps

Who remember the cork lining inside the old soda bottle metal caps. I remember tyring to get them out either for fun or to see if there was a surprise inside like any contest trinket . Wow! That bring us quite far late 50's, early 60's. I was a 7-Up drinker still today. Oh, those six ounces Coca-Cola ... .07¢ then (.05¢ for the drink .02¢ for the returnable bottle) never been a Pepsi fan myself ....I remember the disgusting caps container under the bottle opener of the soda fridge, it was always sticky yuk! It was my job to empty those !!

We'd melt crayons into the caps and play Scully with 'em. Chalk drawn game in the center of the street. Imagine that today...
