Viracocha

Viracocha

A Poem by Richard Guimond
"

The Great Flood Andes version

"

Viracocha

Mighty Mu and far Atlantai had wrong the Spirit in the Sky
So the earth all over was covered by water as penitence
Over the great flood waters flew Viracocha, the Great Condor
Under Inti, pointing out of the even surface stood an island
Condors build a great nest of stones in the wise of the ancestors
The sons of Viracocha repeopled every land under the sun
Since then there are mighty Cities awaiting on mountain tops
And days and night over the ruins fly the shadow of the Condor
