Wonderful Winter WonderlandA Poem by Richard GuimondFor Winter loversWonderful
Winter Wonderland[1]
Stupid tongues stuck to metallic fences
poles Cars waltzing and piling up on icy
highway Broken hips on ice ring
slippery side walks By standers impaled by nail of ice fell from roof Parking lot Concerto for warming cars and scrappers Broken keys in ice shut car doors locks Dead bodies, shovel in hands, in eighteen inches of wet snow Kids eaten in ''top secret fort'' by
snow removal trucks Blue faced drowned skaters thru river
thin ice I'm dreaming of a White Christmas..... © 2015 Richard Guimond |
