Tsantsas

Tsantsas

A Poem by Richard Guimond
"

Shrinking head process

"

Tsantsas

Stone mace broke my jaw
Sting ray spine sew my lips
Obsidian dug my heart
Smoke glass severed my head
Broken maxillary removed
Skull fractured like egg shell
Hot sand replacing my brain
Now parched shrunken head
Dangling from warrior belt

Richard Guimond's photo.

Super interesting Richard - the process explained deliciously here in eloquent verse.
Almost makes me want to try it now myself.
