In the Garden of the Hesperides

In the Garden of the Hesperides

A Poem by Richard Guimond
"

Composed While listening to Hexperos ''Winter Rhymes''

"

In the Garden of the Hesperides,[1]

In the Garden of the Hesperides

Strings are plucked and vibrate

From Celtic harp, from Sidhe fingers

Drum rolls in the nights,

Unworded songs echoes in the air

Silent Winter Rhymes

The angels singing as a Fae sings

Color in the night as notes fly

Rainbow of magic harmonies

Horse's hairs caress a fiddle

Ravens and owls listen, in the night

Magic last forever it seemed

Till an angel, to Miriam,

Gabriel told the news....
