Religious Founding Fathers

One day eons ago

A loafer sat under a tree

While his brothers went hunting

Zapped by lightning was he

I see spirits and talk to them

Said the first shaman

An inbred pharaoh's son

Sat alone in the desert

Was blinded at the sun rise

And got sun stroke

Akhenaten saw the living Aten disk

Abram was a camel rider

To which a cruel God asked for

Sacrifice of a son

The guy started but couldn't finish

So the God made him desert run

Little later another Egyptian prince

Was banished and send to the mountain

Conversation with goats

And lack of sun screen

Made Moses see burning shrub

And later came back for more

Young prince Siddharta

Who never worked a day

Under big tree sat

By photosynthesis fed

His synapses finally snapped

Short-Circuited Brain hence enlighten

At thirty, Yoshua was still loafing

In the desert for thirty days

Talked to Satan, Moses and dead Eli

Walk around performing magic tricks

The best was seem to die

And coming back on the third days

Frustrated Muhammad of lack of Arab God

Was one day exiled to in the desert too

Wrote a book on what he could find

''Kill the infidels pour their blood, burn them high''

And Allah, seventy two virgins, will give you

Across the ocean, Mayan Kinich Ahau

Pierced his testicules with a stingray spine

Had his queen silenced

By slitting her tongue with obsidian

All that to talk with gods and spirits

An Aztec Michica prince

Asked for fat virgins sacrifice

After ripping the still beating heart

For to Xipe Totec be alike

And wore the victim's flayed skins

Coming out of his sweat lodge

A Sioux warrior pierced his skin

Inserted wood pegs

To a tree be suspended

In Sun Dance Vision Quest

And you tell me   ''You must believe in God'' .....!!![1]
