British Explorers

British Explorers

Under the reign of her Majesty Queen Victoria
The Union Jack flew over the world
The sun never set over The British Empire
Was a time of opportunities and adventures
From London gentlemen's clubs, cigar smoking
To jungles and deserts British Explorers tip toed
Cherry oh! Between palm trees and dunes
''Doctor Livingston, I presume''
Richard Burton did the pilgrimage to Mecca
Translated the ''Thousand and One Nights''
And practiced the naughty ''Kama Sutra'' too
After a Zulu spear pierced his manly cheeks
Oh! What a Jolly good time it was, indeed
By George ! Here have some Darjeeling tea
And God Save the Queen
