A Woman's PMS Pictograph Poem

A Woman's PMS Pictograph Poem

A Poem by RICHARD GREEN
"

From my book Aural Gynecology for the Layman

"
She loves her husband
He drinks, he's depressed, confused
He's hurting himself
She's enabling him
She draws and doodles
Love!
Square box with curly-ques inside
Stylized Love LOVE!!
PMS PMS PMS PMS PMS in shadow box
Box, then box with cross hairs
Love, Love, scratched out, scribbled over
Bunny picture
Bigger bunny picture
Fill big square with with little loopedey loops
Big checker-board square
Small checker-board square
Let's go home
I'm tired

This interloper, he's not a poet.
Preening, dancing... It's all pretend.
When talent fails, he'll always blow it
'Cause strive he may, he'll never blend.

He sees himself as Raconteur.
But cannot find the words that fit,
He'd like to be our poet de jure.
But in the end, he has to fake it.

Enabling? Sounds more like gaslighting.
