Edge

Edge

A Poem by Richard Bachman

I need help,
I need work,
Putting these screws
Back into my head

I am mad as birds
Running from my ghosts
Like a mad man,
I beat my brains into these bickering bricks

I cannot stay
I must go,
Because they're right
On my tail

I must run across water
And hop many mountains
To prove this all
Is not over just yet

About
I'm a Freshman at The University of Arizona. I'm a pre-pharD student, and I figured I'd share some of my writings. I'm interested in classics and poetry. My favorite poet is Sylvia Plath, but I don't.. more..
