Just Look At My Heart

Just Look At My Heart

A Poem by Richard Bachman

Isn’t it funny how someday won’t ever come? Or how such a happy child can be turned into nothing more than a depressed soul?

Isn’t it funny how love, on most days, hides and stays far away? Or how ambiguous a person’s actions can be, but how truthful their words can be?

I don’t know how to say something so simple for many people to say, is so difficult for me to say, but I can try.

I don’t know how to say or do many things right, just ask anyone that knows me.

I can’t confess to you how I feel, because my tongue won’t work. Damn cat…

I can’t confess to you how I fell, because I don’t know how I fell so hard.

The only thing that isn’t, or don’t, can’t be said is that I’m confused, but isn’t it funny how so many things make sense in shades of black and blue?
