When The Monsters Call.A Poem by RibhyMayFour things you don't need to know, and one thing that you don't want to.One. I always know where the door is. It's always just out of my sight I plan my escape, Just in case I'm too late, And my monsters wake me up in the middle of the night. Two. I look for the loudest people. And avoid them, just in case. Just in case is my life, And anxiety is the knife, That twists in my belly, at a torturous pace. Three. I always look for the corners. The most defendable spot in the room. In case of a stampede, Or someone tries to talk to me, I have to prepare for the impending doom. Four. I have to remember my headphones. To turn off that noise out there. As the noise in my mind, I think that you'll find, Is worse than any demon's worst nightmare. Five. I try not be all alone. Don't take it personal, I know that you do. But I hope that you'll see, That by staying away form me, My monsters won't get you too.
