Mutual Madness.A Poem by RibhyMayWe're all the mad ones here.
We live in a mad, mad world.
Where metal birds can lift people high in the sky, Where words can mean the same thing, and others not, And it is home to 7 billion nut-cases. We all exist in different levels of madness, Some compatible with others some not, But after centuries and centuries of famous utter nutters, We are told that our madness should be covered. In a world with over 4,000 varieties of potato, Gorillas that know sign language, And Donald Trump, need I say more, I am told that just because I share my body, With another being altogether, Means that I need to seek help, in order to become "normal". A mad race of people is saying madness isn't normal, Which means normal must be madness, as now madness is the norm, Do you see where I am going with this? Just because your madness isn't compatible with mine, It does not give you a reason to say that my mind isn't fine, I have loved, and lost, and shared my body with demons, And you'll be happy to know that I. AM. FINE. How? I found humans that are as mad as me. And we exist together In a mad sort of harmony. Am I mad? I don't know. We're all the mad ones here.
