Situation Critical

Situation Critical

A Poem by Meghan Atziri

A critic's talking now.
I'll tell you the rules, and what I allow.
My world has no power, government or money
which brightened up our lives
and kept our minds open and sunny.
The quality of equality stays fresh in the head
and the burden of time
usually ends up dead.
The unforgettable have forgotten
and the stress has uplifted;
the minds of the clones
have surely all shifted.
Yet this critic is criticized
by her fellow people and fellow folk...
Forget it, there's no way.
This dream is nothing but a joke.
