Beauty is

Beauty is

A Poem by Meghan Atziri

Beauty is Naked.
Beauty is Vulnerable.
Beauty is something that is Uncontrollable.
Yet I have to try? Zero in and magnify.
A puncture. The ugly. Glazed.
What can I erase, today?
Maybe my eyes and my empty lips.
I'm desperate to hide the salt that drips.
Why can't I show? Fool.
Too weak to weep. Expensive.
Beauty is naked. And I am in robes.
