The Sheep who Thought he Was a Wolf

The Sheep who Thought he Was a Wolf

A Poem by Vria P Crow
"

"We held each other..."

"
We held each other,
c l o s e l y
in your grandparent's bedroom.

I
hid beneath her;

b e n e a t h

the aroma of molasses.

W
e flimsily took off our cloths;

t e a r i n g
them for I thought we were savage wolves.

Well done!! I like the story for this piece that is not found in what you said (wrote) but in what you did not say/ write - which also compliments the title perfectly

This has a strangely artistis flow, especially to be free-verse poetry. But do you think it really merits a "mature" rating? It was only suggestively "dirty."

What a solid ending. To me I get, two timid souls finding strength in each other to fight as fiercely as wolves for what they want. Excellent.

Fabulous! And you used another image / song from a movie that I love "The Piano." Kindred spirit. The world is yours to write upon. Never stop writing, expressing, dreaming, wondering, exploring, travelling, questioning, inspiring, leading, discovering, pioneering. Paint the world with your pen.
