Virgin dream
a shaded swoon
melting passions
withdraw the monsoon
human romancer
an eternal poet 

"Suffer the edge of your pendulum…"


A winter lantern hymn 
enters her Amati.
The white siren
charms our composer.

Her marble gaze
encases her violin
beside the swaying dock
over an iridescent ocean, 
litter of an escapist comet.

Play your mortal son
hung by your brass strings
tangled in his devious riddle
written with your candlewick quill. 

Born from the wood
carved a newborn verse
erased by the shifting Sahara
shaming his calming silence.

Romancing the opera
labyrinth score
a single choir
cavern embrace
seduced in stone
unfelt song

Okay.. I get the violin references.. this is about a violinist and a pianist.. she is innocence, I think.. there is the virgin and white references.. so I am assuming it is her. Is he the corrupter? or is he innocent too? I don't know.. I think I am confused, but I love all of the images and metaphors and the Nightwish reference (the song is great too)
