A walk in the woods....

I walk beneath,

the quiet trees.

An emptied Church,

quite long forgotten.

I dance through Arches,

of glistened green,

and stare through,

Stained Glass spiderwebs.

The greens are planted and tomatoes, corn, peppers et al rest in peace in the compost heap. I left the scarlet runner beans, non productive but pretty and the spiders spin zip lines to pipe sunlight like hot honey up and down, over and over again.

lol...no, you're right. a simple poem appeals to readers more than a huge one with big, complicated words...or at least that's what i think.
