Game of entrapment

Game of entrapment

A Poem by Rhinounce
"

A poem about lust, about early relationships

"
Smiles wide, teeth gleam,
Sucked in by charm, wit, sides split,
Hidden agenda, nothing quite what may seem
Cheekbones chiseled, pointed,
Ruthless connotations, gloated experimentation
Take the bait,
Lap it up, give it up
Wait for it to dissipate
As you lie naked, vulnerable and cold
Lead events unfold,
Sweet words have enticed,
Time passed and worth priced,
With holding opportunity to advance,
Stand strong in stance,
Respecting instead of expecting,
The game of entrapment,
The chase of excitement,
Innocent strokes, flattery coax
Try to distinguish between sincerity and hoax,
You want to trust, integrity a must
But the power of lust
With your low self esteem
Passion steam extreme
Confused and bemused
Abused and used?
