We Can RebuildA Chapter by JoeHISTORY OF THE WORLD STORY: A student's essay on the 1988-1990 War in the United Provinces of North AmericaWe Can Rebuild (A Student’s Essay of the War) Michael Johns History 213 (Recent History) University of Axewick 9/3/’93 The year was, as everyone knows, 1988 when the War started. The President, Geiger James Phillips, declared it at 3:17 pm on every major television network in America. A segment of his War Declaration Speech: “My fellow Americans, as of this moment we are engaged in an armed conflict between the ones known as the Espies. As we all know, the Espies were detained on the American Prisoner Detention Island and escaped on March 3rd, 1987. For a short time they hid in plain sight, acting as normal humans, but American scientists have found a way to identify these abnormal beings. They have begun a resistance; one that is, as of now, being dealt with extreme measures…” A few vocal groups around the world compared the War to the Hammerfist Conflict in Cold Europe in the 1960’s. What these groups, most notably EAOB (Espies Are Our Brothers), failed to understand is that the Espies are abominations of nature, like a disease, while the Hammerfist soldiers in Cold Europe were created by scientists in a lab. The difference is that the Espies were never human and the Hammerfists were. President Phillips plan, originally, was to destroy all the Espies. The United Provinces of North America Army corralled them into the north, in Pandora, and had plans to execute, when Phillips’ term of Presidency ended and President Abigail Bixby took office. When this happened, President Bixby called off the termination and held her End of Conflict Speech. A segment of President Bixby’s speech: “My American brothers and sisters, we acted foolishly in contesting the ones known as Espies. During President Phillips’ term, he believed the best course of action was to exterminate these uncommon people. In doing so, in an erratic, near-unorganized fashion, many non-Espies were killed. As of today, the War is over. The UPNA National Army has come to an agreement with the Espies…” Now, President Bixby was correct when she said some non-Espies were killed during the War. This was because the scientists under President Phillips administration had some kinks in their identification of the Espies. The agreement between the UPNA National Army and the Espies was that, if granted certain rights, the Espies would live in designated areas of the United Provinces and under certain conditions. These conditions were akin to those placed on the Hammerfists after the Hammerfist War, including consuming only certain goods and having limited employment opportunities. The most popular employment opportunity granted to the Espies is that of TeleKin Por Inc., a company that employs only Espies for labor work and service companies, including TeleKinPor Moving Co. and TeleKinPor Home Service Implements. Some American people believe that the Espies should be granted full citizenship, which they do not have the right to today, and that they should be treated as well as anyone else. I wonder why? These things are sub-human abominations that only deserve death. They do not deserve to set foot on this fine country’s soil. We are in a state of fear today, wondering when and where those Espies are, frightened they will attack children in their sleep. We can rebuild our great country if we exterminate them like President Phillips wanted in the first place! There is a group known as the Buriers who make it their life task to kill these creatures. I believe that if more people weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, then we could be rid of the Espies in no time.
PROF. NOTES: This is a very disconcerting paper, Mr. Johns. I understand that many people have lost family members in the War, but that is a certain risk one takes when joining the UPNA National Army. The topic of discussion was the War and your opinion on it, not what you think of the Espies themselves. Also, the Buriers have been on the American Watch List of High-Crime for two years now. I do not believe they are something to be idolizing. I would like to speak to you more on this topic. Please see me on Monday. - Professor Roderick Jones. 67/100 © 2010 JoeReviews
