A bond so strong

A bond so strong

A Poem by Rhine Wolf

I have next to me,
My heart and soul,
That runs so free.

I give them to you,
For you to hold,
Forever in you to keep.

You are my strength,
My pillar, my breath,
You give my soul its depth.

To loose you would be,
To loose the part of me,
That gives me life.

Author's Note

Rhine Wolf
This was my attempt at describing love, it is the way I feel when I give my heart to the ones I love. You have no control where they will go or how they will treat your emotions.

Please do note that this is not only aimed only at your partner but at any one you truly love, your partner, your brother or sister even your children and parents. Why is it when a person wrights a love poem, it is automatically assumed that it is to that boyfriend or girlfriend? Love has many forms and depths.

Anam Cara I understand, a concept so profound and yet so simple.
To allow your heart to walk around outside of you.

If we consider love as process, then this definitely would be the best way how to describe this process. As a poem, of course, as it is speeking about love, it's a bit pale and maybe even too simple, although love is as beutiful as simple (true love? real love?=)

Sometimes you need to keep some of yourself for your self, but it is a good read and very touching
