"

In your forest I stand

With it’s roots entwined

between my toes they hide

Spreading your warmth inside

With my hands outspread

My thanks to you I send

For the soul in me you did mend

When it felt warn out & spent

I come to you now

For I have found

A soul drifting at night

In need of your guiding light

On the cord of my soul

She has tugged

A little hand holding tight

In need of your guiding light

Follow the cord leading to my heart

Buried deep with in you will find

All though she is not of my kin

In time gone she may have been

I ask of you though not for me

A guiding light for Aubrey to be

Hold her little hand tight

Give her your strength, lead her to the light.

We both felt this one. I like how your style has changed and how your meanings have become double sided. Well written. Love you always.

This was written when I came across an associate, no a friend, who asked for help in the form prayers for her little niece, who unexpectedly fell very ill, and after following her progress and, at times it seemed that her condition was improving and in that same day took a turn for the worse, my heart rose and fell, till her very tragic passing, when it broke.

As the poem states,
"All though she is not of my kin, In time gone she may have been"
This was and still is how I felt for Aubrey, her passing touched me deeply. My heart still bleed for her parents, at their loss.
