My Beautiful guiding lightA Poem by Rhine WolfHaving lost a parent, friends and family this poem is my reminder, although we do not see them, it does not mean that they are not their for us. Close your eyes whisper their name and listen, they are there, to guide you and watch over you. Believe!
Here I stand alone again
It seem not so long ago
You came, lifting my pain
Making me whole,
Keeping me sane.
My hand flexes, as if to reach for yours
Only to find, you are there no more
My heart rips anew, at the thought of you
I can not hold back these tears that pour
Why did my heart need to back once more?
Here I stand alone in the room
Where you once roamed
Carefully I listen for you
Surly I can hear your voice
So sweet, so soft, so pure
My arms miss your form
I hug myself just to remind me
Of how once you for filled me
You where my Mother, of me you had need
Now you are gone, your soul freed
Here I stand alone again
Finally you feel no pain
I know you are free
Never again in my sight
But I know you there,
My beautiful guiding light
