Changes

Just needing to get some things out thought this the best way to do that.

Changes are happening all around

in some places I am gaining

And in others I am loosing ground

The days fly by

though seem to drag

Somethings are born while others are left to die

Fleeting thoughts that slither through my mind

make me contemplate

The entirety of what is being left behind

I think about the closeness I felt

for friends, that I am soon to say goodbye too

I wonder sometimes about this hand I have been dealt

People seem to come, grow close and then they leave

or distances seem to appear in the middle of the friendship

and the intimate friendship seems something that is not possible to retrieve.

Things change, people come and go

this I understand but sometimes wish it wasn't so

even though I realize it is better to work with life's ebb and flow

Changes make our lives what they are

 and make us who we are supposed to be

it shapes and molds us, sometimes leaving behind scars

however alot of go through life blindly

Until we look back and see

how things are changed

into what we never thought they would be.

just some introspection that had to come out- I would love to hear your thoughts but not really looking for any correction or mistakes to be pointed out. Regardless thank you for taking a look at the thoughts in my head.

it is a simple but moving capturing of the truth of things. I especially like the last three lines as this is exactly how I sometimes feel myself. all changes with time and we don't notice it at the time then we look back and it all seems to have happed with eye-blink rapidity
